Food Bank

Families who live in Floyd County can come to the Fresh Food Bank once a week to pick up free food to feed themselves and their family. Volunteers and staff will greet you, and help you bag your selections. In addition to pantry staples like bread and beans, we are proud to offer fresh healthy produce from our own farm and from local farmers who donate their surplus to the food bank when in season. We do not require any additional information for families to receive food. There are no income limits or property ownership requirements. All are welcomed.

Items we often have:

  • rice
  • peanut butter
  • pet food (donated by the Floyd County Humane Society)
  • infant formula
  • fresh produce
  • U-pick fresh produce
  • tuna
  • pasta
  • eggs
  • meat
  • dry goods
  • and more!

Is transportation an issue? We can bring food to YOU! Learn about our Portable Produce program.
