Plenty!

FIRST FRIDAY - JULY 3- 5-7PM
Join us for Karen Limke's pears, rain barrels, Scott Perry's incomparable tunes, food, drink and general merriment!
Plenty! is a place, a vision and a group of projects.
.
We believe that with everyone giving and receiving there is enough for all.
We know that Floyd County has an abundance of produce and plenty of caring.
We experience the power of a few people working together to solve a problem.
We feel the delight in connecting with our neighbors.

News of Plenty!

THANKS TO GREEN LABEL ORGANIC!

For these great "Save What's Left" t-shirts for the Floyd Elementary 5th grade Green Team! AND for their Holiday Sale over Thanksgiving when they shared 5% of profits with Plenty!

Thanks to Phoenix Hardwoods who donated 5% of their December sales.  And for StellarOne's January donation.  Floyd United Methodist and Zion Lutheran are holding food drives for our Plenty Fresh! Food Bank - we are grateful.

Thanks to Sweet Providence all our neighbors who wanted Christmas trees got a delivery this season.  And the wonderful women at ZION LUTHERAN Church made cookies and ornaments to share too.

PORTABLE PRODUCE - We want your surplus!

It keeps on coming!  We are delivering Floyd's abundance of winter produce and meats to folks in the county who have no transportation or have small children.  If you want to share your extra please bring it to Plenty! at 177 Webbs Mill Road (north on Route 8).  If we're not there you can leave it on the porch and we'll get it into the cooler.  You'd be amazed how happy people are to see us.  Even if we only bring a head of letttuce neighbors like Edith say, "Oh, that's so beautiful.  I can hardly wait to have a fresh salad with my dinner.  That's just the prettiest head of lettuce I've seen."  Thank you to all the neighbors who share your harvest and to those who share your hearts.  DON'T FORGET to GROW A ROW of produce to share with your neighbors this season!

If you want to receive our monthly enews contact plenty@swva.net
